Philippines says will lift Uber suspension if hefty fine paid

The Philippines said on Friday that it would lift the suspension on Uber if the company pays a fine of 190 million Pesos, but this is 20 times greater than what Uber had wanted to pay (10 million Pesos).

The country also wants the company to pay its drivers 20 million Pesos every day to support them financially during the suspension.
