2016薪資最高職業排行榜

Glassdoor是一個企業員工可以匿名分享自己公司內部資訊的平臺，從2008年上市至今已累積了來自世界一百九十個國家、超過三千萬的用戶，Glassdoor利用其上百萬條評價和數據，發佈多項指標性的企業職場報告，近期公布了本年度全美前25大高薪的工作，引起媒體高度關注，進入本文前，先想想如何表達以下單字：

(A) 薪酬福利
(B) 中間值
(C) 年薪六位數

What are you most concerned with when you are job hunting? According to a survey conducted by Careers site Glassdoor, nearly 7 in 10 respondents (68%) reported that salary and (A) compensation would be valued the most before accepting a job. Earlier this month, Glassdoor ranked the top 25 high-paying jobs with (1) C-suite level ones excluded. Take a look and see if your job is on the list.

With two factors considered – (B) median base salaries and number of job openings, physicians (2) took the top spot with a median base salary of $180,000 and 2,064 job openings. Lawyers seized second place at $144,500, with 995 job openings while third place went to research and development managers. Other than these traditionally highly-paid positions, it's no surprise to see that 11 of the top 25 highest paying jobs are within tech and engineering sectors Glassdoor's findings demonstrate that higher salaries (3) go hand-in-hand with higher education and skills that are in demand; therefore, it's not surprising that all of the top jobs pay (C) a six-figure salary.
在考量薪資平均及職缺數量後，內科醫師在這次公布的排名中獲得首位(年薪平均180,000美金，2,064個職缺)，律師也以平均年薪144,500、995個職缺數拿下第二，第三名則是研發經理，除了傳統高薪工作外，科技及工程業共佔了11個名額，這點倒不令人意外。從調查結果可以發現，教育程度及符合市場需求的專業技能和薪水高低息息相關，不難想像為什麼他們年薪能高達六位數。

However, a handsome salary doesn't always equate to job satisfaction. So, what makes employees happy in their jobs? Dr. Andrew, chief economist at Glassdoor, pointed out culture, values and trust between workers and senior management are the key drivers that lie behind it.
