接地氣英文：dial toning

dial toning

定義：the act of giving people your phone number and ignoring them when they reach out. 給了某個人聯絡方式，但沒有要理對方或真正要和對方建立關係的意思。

來源：dial tone原本是指電話接通後的撥號音，後來在2019年時成為交友app上的流行用語，意指雖然拿到電話號碼了，但打不通或沒人接，整個被「撥號不理」。

例句：
(1) I am so nervous. Will he agree on a date or will he dial-tone me?
(2) Have you ever dial-toned someone?

使用指南：

Judy: 他竟然給了電話後就消失了！
