2. made of / made from / made up of

made of 從什麼做的(物理變化)
The cup is made of wood. 這杯子是木頭做的。

made from 從什麼做的(化學變化)
Tissue paper is made from wood. 面紙是木頭做的。

X is made up of Y X是由Y所組成的
The committee is made up of twelve professors and doctors.
這個委員會是由12個教授和醫生組成的。

3. at the end / in the end

at the end 特定時間點
We’re leaving for Australia at the end of January.
我們一月底要去澳洲了。

in the end 最終
也等於eventually/finally
In the end, we decided to postpone the trip to Australia.
最後，我們決定將澳洲旅行延期。

4. 沒有生命的「的」不是只有of 

在學所有格的時候，你可能也學過一個技巧：沒有生命的「的」用of，但是某些時候又要用to，像是車的鑰匙、問題的答案，那是為什麼呢？關鍵看是不是屬於彼此，同屬一體的用of，只是配對關係用to。
to是表示相互關聯
the key to the car 車的鑰匙
the answer to the question 問題的答案
the trousers to this shirt 跟這件襯衫配的長褲

of顯示彼此相互是一體的
the leg of the table 桌子的腳
the door of the fridge 冰箱的門

5. at the moment / in the moment  
 
at the moment 目前
Jason is out of office at the moment. Jason目前不在辦公室裡。
in the moment 當下
Live in the moment. 活在當下。

6. 到底要用哪個「在」：In vs At

在辦公室
at the office沒有一個明確的辦公室空間
可能沒在某個特定地點，但就在附近，可以理解成at work在工作中。

in the office 在辦公室裡面(你的辦公室)
明確表示你在公司某一個辦公室裡面。

at work、in work 意思不一樣
I’m at work.
我在上班。
He’s in work.
他有在上班(有工作)。
in work 在美式用法中不太會看見，但在英式用法的解釋是：to have a job (有工作)。

在學校
at school 人真的在學校裡面
She’s at school 她在學校裡，還沒回來。

in school在學校裡，或是表達「就學中」
She’s in school. 她還是學生。

7. among / between

「兩個之間用between，兩個以上用among」，這個答案是也不完全正確。因為真正的差異不是在數量，而是between強調個別性，among是強調整體性，無法精確區分。
between 兩者之間
On the airplane, I was sitting between two very loud kids.
飛機上，我坐在兩個很吵的小孩中間。
among 眾多之間
The gate is hidden among the trees.
大門藏在樹林裡。

8. on the way/ in the way/ by the way
 
on the way在路上
I’m on the way to the office. 我在去上班的路上。
in the way 擋住去路
You’re in the way. 你擋到路了。
