Google組織重整 更名為Alphabet

Google組織重整 創辦Alphabet新公司

Google宣布進行組織重整，創辦新公司Alphabet，Google共同創辦人Larry Page 和 Sergey Brin將會共同經營新公司，Eric Schmidt將會成為新公司的執行主席。

Google旗下包括 Youtube、Google創投、Google X 等公司將合併為一，Google將會繼續專注在搜尋業務，成為Alphabet旗下的子公司。

Larry Page表示，

"We are not intending for this to be a big consumer brand with related products -- the whole point is that Alphabet companies should have independence and develop their own brands."

Larry Page認為，公司現在營運狀況良好，但我們認為組織重組後的新公司，能讓公司更有效率。

新的公司將會持續投資各種實驗性的計畫，像是無人汽車的開發。

消息宣布後，Google股價上漲了6.31%，Google公司名稱將會在今年正式改名為Alphabet。
