如何以英文禮貌反駁

其實說話換個角度，反對就不難，來看以下三種方式：

一、You換成I

（太直接）Your strategy is wrong. 你的策略有誤。
（禮貌）I suggest a different strategy from the one just proposed. 我會建議一個和剛剛不同的策略。

（太直接）You don't believe in anything. 你並不相信任何事。
（禮貌）Please let me outline what I believe. 請讓我陳述一下我所相信的事。

（太直接）Your proposal to layoff employees now is ruthless. 你的員工資遣提案很無情。
（禮貌）I can show that employee layoffs may not be necessary. 也許我們不需要資遣，我可以證明。

二、How so?
不一定要直接表達反對，問問題也可以幫助對方釐清想法上的缺陷。

• How does that follow from your previous statement? 從你前面的陳述，怎麼推論出來？

簡單版的問法就是＂How so?＂帶有的意思是為什麼會是這樣？如何得到這個結論？

• What holes would people find in your argument? 人家會從你的論點裡找到什麼漏洞？
• Did you weigh or consider other alternatives? 你有評估其他的選項嗎？

三、禮貌地打斷
這樣打斷或回應不失禮，不過接著要說的話，要真的有觀點：

• Excuse me! Please let me make a point. 不好意思！讓我表達一下意見
• Sorry to interrupt, but I respectfully disagree. 抱歉打岔，但我不太同意…
• I think that you have made a good point (good points) but I look at it this way. 我覺得很有道理，不過我是這麼看…
• I agree with much of what you have said, but I disagree on one important/key point. 你說的大部分我都同意，只有一個重要/關鍵部分我不同意。

也可以說：

• I concur with many points, but I have one major point of disagreement.
• My opinion/view is a little different from your own. 我的意見/看法和你有些不同。
• I respectfully disagree for several reasons. 我不同意有幾個原因…
