“The topic is talking about…”這句話哪裡錯了？

中文說這個主題談的是…但英文不會這樣用talk。

● Cathy is at a birthday party – speaking of birthdays, Eric's is Friday. 凱西去參加生日派對—說到生日，星期五是艾瑞克生日。

● I won't be home when you get in from school. Speaking of which, don't forget your keys. 你們從學校回來的時候我不會在家。說到這個，不要忘記帶鑰匙。

When it comes to… 談到…，涉及…
● When it comes to fishing, John is an expert. 講到釣魚，John是專家。

Speaking of… When it comes to… 有時可混用，speaking of…意思比較像「剛好說到這個」，而When it comes to…是談話有主題地談到…部分，例如：
● When it comes to sleep, timing is everything. 談到睡眠，正確的時間是最重要的。

（名詞／動名詞） Aside/Apart 撇開…不談
● I know I laugh at him but, joking aside, he's a very clever scientist. 我是會笑他，但撇開玩笑不談，他是一個非常聰明的科學家。
Put something aside字面上就是把一件事物放到一旁，也有撇開某事的意思。
