相關連接詞 (correlative conjunction)

與對等連接詞相似，不過通常「成雙出現」，用來連接兩個詞性相同的單字、成對的片語，或結構類似的子句。

常見的相關連接詞：

either/or 不是…就是

neither/nor 既不…也不

both/and 兩者都是

not only/but also 不但…而且

so/that 如此…以致

whether/or 無論…或

not so much/as 不在於…而是

 

She was so hungover from last night that she couldn’t focus on the game today.

她因為昨晚喝太多而宿醉，以致於今天無法專心比賽。

Mr. Wheatley neither cared about his wife and daughter, nor did he send them any money.

Wheatley先生既不在乎他的妻子和女兒，也不寄錢給她們。
