動詞讀懂 Email 語言
一個句子少於10個字，讀懂率是98%;一個句子少於20個字，讀懂率是75%;一個句子多於20個字，讀懂率是4%，讀者必須一讀再讀。寫一封簡潔Email，原則就是一個句子一個概念，判斷句子有幾個概念，就看它有幾個動詞。
匯款收款，英文怎麼說?
email和客戶往來，最重要的就是用字不拖泥帶水，和錢相關的事情更是如此，收款、匯款英文怎麼說?
1. remit 匯款、匯寄
Attached is our bill. Please remit the money. 附件是帳單，請匯款。
2. transfer 轉帳，匯款的方式之ㄧ
Please transfer the money in 3 days. 請在三天內轉帳。
3. arrange 安排，告知對方款項會被安排
The payment will be arranged as soon as possible. 此款項將會盡快被處理。
4. wire 電子系統轉帳wire transfer，也可以說wire，特指透過網路銀行轉帳
The money is scheduled to be wired on July 16th. 錢預計在7/16匯過去。
收款應該用receive、reach還是arrive?
我們已經收到款項了。
(x) The payment/money has reached us.
(o) The payment/money has been received. = We received the payment/money.
(o) The payment/money has arrived.
reach跟arrive都是到達，但reach還帶有一些「努力」成分，arrive強調已經抵達的狀態。arrive可以指具體也指抽象，不限制人或物品，而receive就是直觀的收到、接收。
email重點，看Please接的動詞
「請注意」-- 常常出現在Email一開頭，請對方注意接下來的訊息，英文怎麼說?
(x) Please be noted...
(o) Please note...
note這個字是「注意」、「留意」，用主動即可。
Please note that this bill must be paid within 10 days. 請注意本帳單必須在十天內付款。
「請見附件」 -- 附件是用Attached please find、Enclosed please find過時了，大家現在認為附件不需要 find，這麼寫看起來像律師函。還有人會用Please see attached也不自然。 現在常見是用I’m attaching、I've attached，或直接用Attached is...。
附上收據。
Attached is the receipt.
I’ve attached the receipt.
Please be reported 不是「請知悉」而是「你被告發」
很多人認為report是報告，我向你報告，你被報告，但please be reported這樣用法是不對， 這句話是個祈使句，主詞其實是you，也就是You are reported，變成「你被告發某件事」 而不是「我要向你報告 」。可以改成Please be informed.
確認有分confirm和make sure
確認會議時間;出差確認行程，confirm和make sure都是「確認」，該用哪個字?
confirm 確認「一件事的正確性」
make sure 確認的是「一個動作會發生」
我們會檢查流程，確保事情順利進行。
(x) We'll check the agenda to confirm that everything runs smoothly.
(o) We'll check the agenda to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
確認的是everything runs smoothly這個動作會發生，用make sure。
主管想確認Janice下週是否不在辦公室。
(x) The director wants to make sure if Janice will be out of the office next week.
(o) The director wants to confirm if Janice will be out of the office next week.
主管要確認「Janice不在辦公室」這個消息是真的，而不是確保她不會在辦公室，所以用confirm。
