(X)Social freshman

(O)New graduate/ fresh graduate

As a new graduate you could expect to start on around £22,000.

(X)Enter the society

(O)Enter the workforce

Our company's workforce exceeds 2,000 people.

Graduate employees are entering the workforce with too few business skills.

Schools are working with businesses to fill gaps in the workforce.

(X)show the door

(O)Get a foot in the door

英文裡有一說法叫“get a foot in the door",意即找到相關領域的第一份工作。

An internship might not sound very interesting, but it's a great way to get your foot in the door at this company.

Although the pay was low, he accepted the job because it allowed him to get his foot in the door.
