一次搞懂的動詞練習

1. Our boss will get mad/ madly if we don’t reach the sales target for this quarter.

如果我們沒有達成這季的銷售目標，老闆會很生氣。

2. I saw him got/ getting wasted at a bar last night.

我昨晚看到他在酒吧裡喝得爛醉。

3. They heard someone argue loudly/ loud outside the office.

他們聽到辦公室外有人爭執得很大聲。

4. Please have all the files organized/ organize by the end of the week.

請在週末之前把所有的檔案整理好。

5. You look nervous/ nervously. What happened?

你看起來很緊張，發生了什麼事？

6. I heard the slogan repeating/ repeated over and over during the protest.

我在遊行抗議中一次又一次的聽到口號。

7. Someone sent to me/ me an anonymous email and I don’t know if I should open it.

有人寄了一封匿名電郵給我，我不知道該不該打開它。

答案＆解析

1. Our boss will get mad if we don’t reach the sales target for this quarter.

這句的get為連綴動詞，後面接的應該為補語，用來修飾主詞「老闆」的狀態，因此答案為形容詞mad，而不是副詞madly。

2. I saw him getting wasted at a bar last night.

See是感官動詞，因為句子是描述昨晚的情況，因此變成過去式saw，而無論整句的時態為何，感官動詞後面接的都是原型動詞或現在分詞，因此答案只有可能是get(強調狀態)或getting(強調動作)。

3. They heard someone argue loudly outside the office.

這句的heard為感官動詞，後面加上原型動詞argue，而loudly則是單純的副詞，用來修飾動詞argue，不受前面感官動詞的影響。

4. Please have all the files organized by the end of the week.

這句的have為使役動詞，接的受詞是物品而非人，因此可以判斷為被動語氣，後面應該接過去分詞，表示「使檔案(被)整理好」。

5. You look nervous. What happened?

這句的look是連綴動詞，後面接的補語修飾前面的主詞you，因此應該選形容詞nervous，而不是副詞nervously。

6. I heard the slogan repeated over and over during the protest.

這句的heard是感官動詞，一般而言後面接的是原型動詞或現在分詞，但這句的主詞slogan是「被重複」的，屬於被動的語句，因此應該使用過去分詞。

7. Someone sent me an anonymous email and I don’t know if I should open it.

此句中的sent是授與動詞，an anonymous email是直接受詞，me則是間接受詞。間接受詞在前，不需要使用介系詞；若是直接受詞在前，介系詞也應該擺在兩個受詞之間，而非動詞之後。
