In heaven, Eddie meets five people from in his life, and realizes how their life stories were connected. In the sequel, Annie goes to heaven. One of the people she meets there is Eddie.

十五年前，小說《在天堂遇見的五個人》掀起轟動。書中主角Eddie是在遊樂園工作的老工人，為了救小女孩Annie而喪生。Eddie在天堂遇見了五個曾出現在他生命中的人，認識到他們的生命故事在什麼時刻交集，每個生命都有意義。在這本續集中，當年的小女孩Annie來到天堂，她遇到的其中一個人，正是Eddie。

Annie got her life back at the amusement park, but her life changed after that experience. Her broken arm was reattached through a major surgery but scarred, which caused her to be bullied. She ran away from home. It wasn’t until she met her childhood love that she found happiness. However, another accident happened on her wedding night, which caused her to wake up in heaven. How will Eddie and the others influence Annie? What lies behind every wound and mistake?

Annie當年在遊樂園撿回一條命，但人生從此改變。她斷了手臂，經過手術接回，留下深深傷疤，她受到霸凌，離家出走...直到與青梅竹馬重逢，似乎找到幸福，卻在新婚之夜發生意外，來到天堂。Eddie與其他人將如何啟發Annie？每一次的傷害與錯誤背後，有什麼更深的意義？
